We have finally arrived! Welcome to Worcestershire’s exciting new lifestyle and wellbeing newspaper! Our aim is to provide news, an uplifting, informative and inspirational read to help you make the most of life in Worcestershire, and best of all we are FREE!
How many times have you read the paper or watched the news and been left contemplating the seemingly gloomy nature of the world around you? We appreciate that not all news is good news but we can try to look on the bright side!
New Year is a symbolic time for many of us, when we look back on the year that’s gone and ahead to changes we hope to make in the one that’s coming up.
We wish you all real health and happiness this year. Many of us will have made new years resolutions in an attempt to take charge of our lives. These resolutions are made, driven by a strong sense of the direction we want to move in and the goals we need to set in order to get where we want to go. The initial optimism we feel often gives way to uncertainty, disillusionment and distraction as the results we expected fail to materialise in the way that we had planned. We all have a choice! We can stick to our goals, find a way around the obstacles, and overcome our fears and doubts, or we can abandon our plans and dreams. We are not pretending that it is easy to progress when feeling uninspired and wondering if we really want to be heading it that direction.
We hope The Bright Times can offer motivational ideas and messages, inspiring stories, interesting articles and information to encourage positive lifestyle choices. To make the Bright Times as reader friendly as possible we have broken it down into sections including community, Health, Activity & Leisure, Home & Environment, Work & Learning, Kids & Parents and Sport. Throughout these sections we will also give you ideas of places to go, things to do, groups to join and lots more.
We want as many local people and businesses involved with us as possible. If you have anything you would like to see on our pages or anything you would like to contribute, news, views or ideas please get in touch.
